CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: CHAIR/VICE-CHAIR(S)

We are seeking candidates to serve as chair or vice-chair(s) on this joint chapter in 2014. Self-nominations are encouraged.

Our joint chapter is constituted of IEEE members of the Society on Social Implications of Technology, members of the Professional Communications Society and members of societies that are participants of the Technology Management Council:Broadcast Technology Society, Circuits & Systems Society, Communications Society, Computer Society, Electromagnetic Compatibility Society, Electron Devices Society, Industrial Electronics Society, Photonics Society, Professional Communication Society, Reliability Society, Signal Processing Society, Solid State Circuits Society, Systems Man and Cybernetics Society, Vehicular Technology Society.

These threads of IEEE’s tapestry provide a rich source for activities to benefit members, fellow engineers and society.

In order to give our TMC/SSIT/PCS committee an opportunity to prepare and distribute the slate of candidates, please adhere to the nomination deadlines:

  • Monday 30 September: closure of call for nominations
  • Monday 7 October: announcement of slate of candidates and beginning of eVoting
  • Week of 4 November or Week of 11 November: last chance to vote at chapter event
  • Monday 2 December: announcement of election results
